Your showreel is a mini-feature, with your performance as the main event, meaning it should unapologetically focus on you. There is little time to waste on moody skylines, panoramic vistas, or too long on other actors, when you only have 2½ minutes to show what you can do. As such, our superb, high quality showreels are made exactly to casting director and agent specifications.

Our films have won 34 awards all over the world (including in Hollywood). We will be using this expertise to create your reel.
Your script will be written by a professional writer* whose works have been chosen to represent England at The Traverse International Festival.
* We prefer not to film scenes directly taken from TV shows and Films because it invites comparison with the established actors who played those roles.
Instead, we would be happy to write a script written in a similar style or we could film your own written script, with the director’s agreement.
about the director
You are in the best hands. Our team has won over 30 awards for our films – including, best director, best editor, best actor and best film. So we know what is needed to stand out.
About your director, Paul McNeilly : For over 30 years in the industry, Paul has amassed 150 credits (including 70 film and TV roles in all the main channels). This body of work doesn’t stem from pure luck. As an actor and acting teacher, he has hosted workshops with Casting Directors such as Dan Hubbard (King Kong, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider), Emma Crompton (Beauty and the Beast, Sherlock), and Andrea Clarke (Blade II, Mutant Chronicles) to Agents like Hannah Wilkinson (Emptage Hallett), Bex Elliff (C.A.M.), Kristian Wall (42 management).
Furthermore, Paul has sat in on many castings / auditions and watched countless showreels. While the industry is full of uncertainties, he has seen too many actors fail to get the role for reasons within their control. It starts with your headshot and your showreel.
On the day (and during the prep rehearsal), he can coach you (if you wish). You will learn a few basics like hitting your marks, listening with your eyes, … So be assured that every bit of knowledge he will share with you will be first hand, tried and proven from his success.
THE PROCESS
preparation
Firstly, we have an initial consultation (over coffee or Zoom), to establish what your requirements are. We’ll discuss roles, and genre, and plot a course forward, according to your strengths and ambitions. The more details you share, the better for your scenes. We will also discuss scene partners and pairings. If you choose to go with us, a booking deposit of 50% will be asked for**.

Then we’ll get to work on your scenes. Once they are written, we’ll send them to you for tweaks and adjustments. When you approve the scripts, we organise a date for filming.
The remaining balance is due before the day of filming.

Another optional zoom meeting can be made for rehearsal… for free! This further gives our team a sense of the shots we can achieve ahead of time – while giving you a chance to receive feedback from the director to enhance their performance. We can further discuss costume, props and locations. If you’d prefer no feedback, we can skip this step.

** Let’s talk refunds and rescheduling:
Through our initial consultation, we know what you expect, and we aim to deliver as soon as possible. Meaning once you book with you, we are already working behind the scene (script, preproduction, logistics, etc…). However, it also means we unfortunately cannot issue refunds for your deposit. However, if you paid for the entire scene(s), we will issue a refund on the rest of the payment, minus the deposit.
For rescheduling, we need at least 48 hours notice. The original price of your scene(s) will not change regardless of the current price.
locations
We will film at your location of choice whether it’s your house, an office, your car, etc… However, not all of them would be usable for filming reasons (too noisy, too busy etc … ) During the initial consultation, we will discuss viable filming locations.
If you are struggling to find appropriate locations, we should be able to help. We have a few places in reserve.
scene partners
We ask that you provide your own scene partners. Actors from classes you have attended, or network groups and good actor friends are a great start. Facebook acting groups are also ideal for that. More can be discussed during the initial consultation.
For 1 or 2 Scenes packages: If you do not find actors, talk to us, we might be able to book you a scene partner (at an extra cost)
For the 3 Scenes package: We understand that finding 3 different partners might be tricky, so if you are missing only 1 partner, we will bring somebody on board at no extra cost. But if you need the other 2 partners as well, we might be able to book them (at an extra cost)
filming day
On the day of filming, you have only one concern… to ACT!
What happens if you have little to no screen acting skills?
Don’t worry, we got you! Whether you come from a theatre background or never stepped foot professionally in front of the camera, we will help you.
getting your scenes
After filming, you sit back and relax while our editor does their magic and you get your brand new scenes or showreel within 1 – 2 weeks. We will send you a private link for you to view your scenes / showreel. You have an opportunity to give your notes for tweaks. We make the changes and finally send your reel in a downloadable format. You now have a scene / reel ready to be uploaded and shared on any platform.
All edits for each scene include:
_ Selection of best footage that favours you
_ Colour grading (the look of the images suits the mood of the scene)
_ Sound balance and enhancement (professional sound everytime)
_ Music/ Effects if required

If you already have some footage and want a professional looking showreel, this option is for you. You provide the footage (and any information you want on it), we make a smooth edit out of it.
